What is Recess?Recess is not a class or workshop; Instead, the purpose of Recess is to answer those questions that so many artists face: How do I stay engaged? Who can I ask for feedback? Who can keep me accountable? Recess is a response to the need for community. Of course, artists do need time to be in the studio and focus on creating without distractions. By that same token however, art is not made in a vacuum, and engaging with a community that understands and respects the creative process can be immensely beneficial for one’s creative growth.

Where does Recess take place?Recess is exclusively online, meaning that you can attend from just about anywhere in the world. So long as you have an internet connection, you’ll be able to participate fully in each session.
